Link to Universal Radio.  Full Line Shortwave and Amateur Radio equipment supplier. Is, in my opinion the most pleasureable retail establishment catering to the Radio Hobby with which to do business.  I have known owner Fred Osterman on a personal basis for many years and can attest to their well deserved reputation.  Support them, Universal has long been a hobby ally.

Has long been a friend to the listening hobby with specialty ascessories and periphials of extreme quality.  Check out their site for a complete listing of Kiwa's products of uncompromising quality such as IF filters and their Medium Wave Loop.

Mark Fine is an experienced and avid SWBC and MW DX'er.  This link takes you to his site which features excellent software control products for the listening hobby.  Fineware software products support the popular Drake R8 family of receivers,  JRC NRD-535 and 545, AOR-7030, Lowe HF-150 and Kenwood R-5000 receivers.  Also be sure to check out the new Radio Listeners Database program available from Fineware.

Link to Universal Radios selection of Dressler antennas.  I had never been q believer in active antennas.... Until recently.   As as result of DX'pert Bob Montgomery's lectures at the 1996 and 1997 Winter SWL Fest, I began researching the possible benefits of active antennas.  An extensive article in the 1996 World Radio TV Handbook on the subject was the clincher.  There are many to choose from but the Dressler 60 is one to consider wheen looking for the best bang for the buck
