Listening
to distant radio stations is not only an interesting and educational past time, it can be very, very challenging. This site brings together many aspects of the Radio Listening hobby for your consideration and enjoyment.
Some
might say the Internet has been the death knell of
the 21st Century. Traditional SWBC
Broadcasters come and go, contract then expand
services. Some might say there is nothing to
listen to.
Nothing can be further
from the truth! AM/BCB DX'ing, Military
Monitoring, Long Wave DX'ing and Aero-Nav monitoring
are new frontiers for the listening enthusiast.
Here you will find links to interesting hobby related WWW sites. Audio clips of both rare and more commonly heard DX stations I have heard are also available. There are pictures of my own receivers
with comments as to their performance, features, strengths and weaknesses. Finally, my goal is to use this site as an outlet to share over 30 years of Shortwave Broadcast DX'ing techniques with other hobby
enthusiasts. Navigate through this site using the links on the left hand side of the page. |
